To make a long story short -- this is what I'm looking for.

I have 4 people that need to work no more then 10 hours shifts and end up with approximately 2010 hours per year.

Right now they are looking at this..... 5 days 7am-3pm 2 days off... 6 afternoons 3pm-11pm 2 days off ...... 6 midnights 11pm-7am with 3 days off. These are 8 hour shifts but we can go as much as 10 hours.

What would be great is a formula or program that allowed me to insert the number of employees, number of hours to work and it would come up with different schedules.

In addition, the boss's do not want to pay for any programs, this is all on me.

Do you know how to use Excel? You could probably use it to do the required math.

That would do.You just need to create a few rules and your done.
