Now i got my new Jet LAthe and i want to get the ball rolling here but need some help. How do you get the block into rounded wood?

What kind of tools should i be buying? Give me a big list i got to shop asap and start building!!

hay buddy.
why dont you stop by this weekend or even tuesday if you want and i will go over some stuff with ya.
rather you see how to do than get hurt in the first 5 min.
not to say that you will just as a fellow plug builder im willing to show you the ropes and what not.

I use three turning tools: a 3/4" roughing gouge, a 1/4" parting tool, and a skew chisel (3/4" ?). If you want quality, buy the Robert Sorby tools. They are not cheap.
