Yes, there is a natural predator for Sea Robins!!!

It's ME!!!!!!

I keep getting double headers!!!!

Think I will try to hire myself out to boats as the resident robin catcher so the others can catch fluke.

Seriously, I have filleted fluke with small sea robins in their gut or belly. But then fluke will eat anything.

I am sure stripers eat sea robins also.

Beyond that I don't know.

But they sure are getting bigger!!!

I think if party boats advertised sea robin trips we would not see them. They would refuse to bite since they know we targeted them. LOL!!!!

depends on size

yes there are fish that eat other fish!
Stripe bass love sea robins in the smaller size as well as Big fluke if the right size. I have seen blue fish spit up searobins and even small searobins in Big seabass so there is other fish that enjoy them. but I think humans eat them as well!!!

sea robins

They are tasty fried up. I like them better then fluke that way. similar to a porgy in taste. Only the jumbo ones are worth the effort.

They are prized (similar species) all over europe expecially France.

PS some of the uglyiest fish are real good to eat. Monkfish, wolfish and blackfish are no prize winners.
