About three weeks ago we caught a fish under a high flyer that we couldn't identify. It was about 28" long and weighed about ten pounds. It was silver with yellowish fins. It resembled a bluefish , but definitely wasn't. We caught it whe a squid head sank about 50feet out .... We had already caught a couple mahi off this flyer and when the action stopped this fish bit. we released it unharmed. Does anyone know what it could have been it was an excelent figter and a beatiful fish.

No it was entirely silver like a bluefish it had no spots. It was all so caught around Atlantis canyon a little far out for a weakfish.

if it is its a small one. pretty sure they get much bigger in florida
