I was out there this past weekend, fished the surf off Gurney's Huge schools of blue chasing bait along the beach I only fished the in tides ...It looked like they where chasing either sand eels or spearing..nice day, sunny ...I threw tins(Point Judes and Kastmasters) ..they where hitting anything shiny..all shapes and sizes from Po-jees to butterfish to a Kastmaster with a green tube ..just a suggestion crush your barbs, it makes life easier
