After coming up short the past few trips seaching for a keeper fluke, we decided to switch it up over the 4th and try for some Sea Bass.
Luck was on our side as we snagged a few, including these two critters. We caught 'em near the pocketbook. They weighed in at 4.8 and 5.2 lbs, which was heavy enough to make the '08 dock board at Gone Fishing Marina.
Pics attached, the 2nd one is a good comparison as the smallest fish was 12-13 inches.
