Hi:

I'm going to Montauk next week and am thinking of going on a 1/2 day party or charter boat during the week..any suggestions or good recommendations???

also do they have any open charter boats out there????

I highly recommend Capt. Keith, 38 Topaz in Snug Harbor. Nicest friendliest skipper in montauk, hands down. You'll not only catch fish but your gonna learn a lot and have fun.

For the most part the charter boats are not open, unless you have at least 3 or 4 others in the party it will be far cheaper to go on one of the open boats, the possibilites for open boats are as follows: Lazybones, Viking, Miss Montauk, Marlin Princess, Ebb tide, Flying cloud. I think those are all the open ones. Good luck.
