I need to repair a few nicks(about 1/2" wide) in my hull. Near the point on the bow below water line. It does not need to be fiberglassed. Has anyone used a bonding product that they really stand behind for this? Thanks

In the bottom paint

MakoMike

They are on the bottom where painted. When cruising it would be out of the water, but under water while floating.

I hit a rock at end of last season at very low speed while bassing. It did not pierce the fiberglass.

Piece 'o Cake - as long as its under the Bottom Paint

Grind/scrape back the bottom paint and use Marinetex with a spackle knife to slightly overfill the gouges.

Once hardened, sand flat with a Vibrating palm sander using 100-grit production paper.

Repaint with the bottom paint and nobody will be the wiser.

Should take no more than a liesurely morning to do from start to finish.

Been there and done this and it is undetectable once completed.
