EC/Steve - can't we get a stay of execution so that Megs can post on this board at least?
After a series of PM's this past Fall, including some really good cooking tips, plus his GENUINELY FUNNY and INSIGHTFUL input on many threads on this board, including his hilarious contributions to the now-famous Krispy Kreme thread, I consider him both a talented contributor and a personal friend. And that's saying something, since I've never even met him.
Can't we get his exile lifted on this board, at the least?

Listen guy's how about a little settling down of these issues. I have monitered these recent posts by Megs, Mako Mike, EC and etc. All of you are right in some respects yet others wrong in other respects. Well at least in my view.
Why don't we put the swords down and call a truce. I would not mind even sponsering a online chat room peace talk. Come on, this is not high school! Be serious.
Megs should be able to express his oppinions, however he should do so in a way which is not overtly offensive to others. It's his judgement call. you are all very vehement in you oppionions, and it's understandable, but please we've reached a point where it's getting ridiculous.
EC, Mako Matt, Togmaster, I agree with your responsbilities, but I also see that Megs has been attacked a little hard. Lets have a mutual peace where Megs gets back on, but must watch what he posts and apologize to the big guys, EC Togmaster and MakoMatt. However the big guy's must apologize for getting out of hand with the cencorship stuff.
This way everybody's heads are defleated.
OK I have my helmet on and body armor in place. I am ready for the bashing from whoever.
But then again......the cause of this crap may just be..........a severe case of cabin fever!

I have been off the board since this afternoon and missed all the fireworks .
Now I Know The Winter Blues Have Really Started To Set In To All Of Us !

What ever happened to a firm slap on the wrist ! How about he can only post 50 words in a post or no pictures for a month instead .

I would like to hear how many people were actually offended by Mega. I think the accusations of argueing, fighting, etc are being made by people not even involved in the "arguement" threads. Mega and Mako had an "internet arguement", where everyone else jumped in and seemingly took sides which blew the whole thing out of proportion (myself included) If people would relax, and if they cannot relax MYOB, there wouldn't be such an issue with this.
Its funny to go into teh chat room and see all the people who are "arguing and fighting" on the boards, having a good laugh and chit chatting for hours.

Let?s get a few things straight
First of all Megs was banned for a week and he was notified on numerous occasions by me and others that he was pushing things a bit too far. This was not an arbitrary move, problem is he totally ignored my warning and continued his constant attack pushing me to the limit. I PM?d him numerous times and even asked him to call me so we could discuss it over the phone. He wouldn?t even respond and had he it may not have gotten this far.

Well guys Noreast did reply and made his point. I don't agree with the ban but if George did try and contatct him and talk it out. then Meg should do so. I was away this weekend and did not see what was posted up for all of this to happen it was deleted before I read it. But I truly will miss Meg and hope he returns ASAP! I have no control over banning and George ususally dosn't like to be bothered with this stuff for he is a busy guy! So Meg if George asked you to call him to talk it out then the ball is in your court. Hey Meg you sometimes have to give little to get what you want and you are the type of guy that gets what he wants so make the right choice and lets move on there is still more fun to be had!
