I always think nothing is to good for my boat..you can't walk back when something breaks!
I spend most of my time in the bays,or inlets. Plenty of traffic around to help me out. I do run two big deep cycle batteries. (stow-away). I have recently bought interstate marine batteries for another boat mainly because if they go bad while under warranty I can exchange them easily. The stow-away batteries went bad and I was stuck. I'd stick with name brand. Gel-Cell if you do some heavy pounding maybe. I've seen Optima marine on e-bay for 80-100 bucks plus 20 shipping.
Is the plug in?
