1ST The thankyou's To Capts.Vinny and Rich for making the boat available (wish we could have filled it) To Joe and the guys at Stella Marris for providing the bait George for donating his time and skills and Capt. Steve on the mulligan for his time his boat and his expertise The trip went off pretty well we didnt get as many aglers as we would have liked but only lost 2 at the last minute due to the crappy weather Fished around the jetty in 66 degree water with a light e wind started off on the tail of the flood tide and fishing was ok altough mostly shorts. Things were really slow through the slack But picked up with the start of the ebb tide . Between the 2 boats we had 7 guys fishing and between 4 30 and 7 30 pm had around 60 fluke with 10 being keepers, nothing was much bigger than 18". Collin had 2 fluke on a 6 0z hammerd jig he was tossing at some breaking bait and george had a bunch on the 2oz pink spro . Peanuts and squid/ spearing combos did the rest we tried a few teaser patterns White and realteasers green hardbody were best. We raised 350.00 for the leagal fund with the trip and the sold an additional 100.00 in raffell tckts Total 450.00 for the night $$ will be fwd to Capt. Neil asap <like href="http://www.noreast.com/postedreports/view.cfm?id=73066" send="false" show_faces="false" width='layout="button_count"'></like> |
