Saturday and Sunday 1/26 & 1/27 Saturday we had a Private charter and took a little jaunt down South to search for some better numbers and Bigger fish as that what the group wanted to do. We found neither the extra long day only produced 10 or so Tog and none of those were noteworthy .
Sundays trip was better in both Quality and Quantity The little current made for a somewhat pickey Bite But With 6 rods in the water we managed 25 or so Nice Keepers with a few fish in the 8 lbs class. Bait is getting to be an issue with many dead crabs in each bag and many big soup crabs as well . We have managed to keep a decent supply so far and with luck will have enough to get through the last few weeks of the season . With the numbers of Cod being caught we will also be trying to keep some soft bait on board when we can.
