Saturday Am Capt. John had Danny, Mike and the guys (5) total from Albany out for some SeaBass and Fluke today . John Fished a bunch of Drops between 40 and 60 ft producing 40 keepers seabass and a ton of shorts on the ebb tide 70 deg. water for the guys.Once the tide changed the bigger fish seemed to stop biting. So Then they went to get in on some of the hot fluke action ,on the flood ,from yesterday and it just didn't happen guys wound up with 4 keepers and 20 or so shorts all in all an ok day the guys had a blast and the weather was nice till the last hour. ----------------------------------------------------- Friday Am Norio and his pal Dave had the boat today for a Bass/ fluke combo And fishing was great all day started out drifting clam on the east beach were both guys had their limit of bass to 32" by 8am Norio had 5 between 28 and 32 releasing 3 and Dave had four 2 keepers 2 just short. Between 8 30 and 2pm we drifted Fluke in the channel. Norio had 6 keepers out of 15 with 25" being the pool Dave felt alot queasy in the channel but still had 2 keepers and 2 shorts I got to swing a rod (with Dave streched Norio said I should fish as he's an old pro now)landing 4 keepers and 10 or so shorts many many between 16.5 and 17.75 fluking was good today. ------------------------------------------------------- Thursday Pm Had Barry , Bob and sal out for an evening 5to 9pm light tackel Bass trip. We drifted worms on 10 to 12 lb gear in 70 deg. water on the ebb tide around 25 ft the guys had lots of action landing 22 bass and a keeper fluke and seabass. Only problem all the bass were around 23" Barry was HH with 8 Sal and Bob split the other 14. I even got in a bit (the guys told me I should dig in) catching 5 in between baiting hooks and such.Everything but the fluke and seabass were released for tomorrow. -------------------------------------------------- Friday Pm Mike and Annie along with Joseph and Daniell were out on the Fluke n Fireworks trip tonight. While fishing was not high on this groups agenda and they asked if we could stay in the bay As the kids do not have there sea legs. The kids managed a few small bass on worms (fluking in the bay has been bad) as well as a few short fluke and a few Seabass . We fished around the RC and 2 can then the MPB on the ebbtide. The fire works on CI seem to get bigger and Better every week those guy to a realy nice job.
