Crazy Al,
I started fishing at mb for bass and blues with chunks. What area or spot do u perfer to fish in mb. I fish just before the broken kingsborough gate and have been doin ok.

Although I don't fish MB as much as I like to… but the small jetties and along the beaches (during the fall) all seems to be very productive with plugs and eels.

Also, the kingsborough grounds is not too bad for chunking and you can find many impressive choppers and stripers during the night during the first and last 2 hours of the ebb tides.

Just wondering... Have you heard any decent reports from your area lately?

what are ebb tides? I haven't really heard anything.

Hi Great2,

Another word for Ebb tide is "outgoing" water.

For example:
Flood tide = Incoming moving water
Ebb tide = Outgoing moving water
High -or- Low Slack = ZERO moving water

fishing MB

hi,

I like to fish in MB area, it's close to my house and take me 5-7 min to get there. I do spining using minnows, spoons, on the right side of the manhatan beach all way down to the
15 Brighton. Yesterday was fishing
that area and got 35',17LB monster
on LX Minnow(Yo-Zuri).........and 2 more stripes in 15-19'.... ;0)
