I went out trolling out of Mamaroneck for an hour and one half yesterday afternoon starting about 4:00 P.M. The fleet was set up outside Hempstead Harbor. Within 15 seconds after my yellow umbrella rig was let out, I hooked a nice 6 pound bluefish, which I released. I caught no other fish, but a lobster pot snagged my umbrella rig and gave a great fight. Unfortunately, the lobster pot won. I saw a few blues picked up by the chunkers, but not a whole lot of action.
