How about Mackrel fishing? Do you know of any good party boats in NY or NJ and pls recommend bait and tackle. I heard that Mack time is now or starting soon?

What do you go for during the winter in our NY/NJ area?

Well I just started to get serious about fishing this year and since i dont have a boat got introduced to surf fishing this summer. Got lucky caught my first striper keeper in august and since then willing to fish for anything and anywhere. So this is my first winter and trying to figure out where and what runs.
