Hello evrybody,

I like to use diferent lures,spoon,bucktail and during the day
hours , in the morning I have no problem to hook the fish using them, but i don't know why at night for me works the best LX MINNOW in gold/black color(the one that makes sound).

What about you, what do you like to go with at night ?

hey shark. I have alot of plugs I try at night. A few of them have produced both stricks and fish. However, My ultimate night lure is a Jet black swimmer that Gabby's Grabbers makes. All black with an orange eye. That is my best night lure by far. Especially on real dark nights. if there are fish there they'll usually hit it. Some black poppers have also worked good for me. Chicken scrath, the white and yellows are good too. Gabby's makes some swimmers, poppers and rattle traps in a "bunker color" it is a goldish lure with silver on the sides and black on the top. That also works good at times. But the jet black is by far my most productive with bass and blues at night. Good luck.

Gotta,

The Knucklehead is a different lure from a Bomber swimmer so you really can't compare them on the same level (like apples and oranges).

The Bomber is a plastic lipped swimmer while the Knucklehead is a popper/swisher/guggler-type lure (similar to swim fishing a good Polaris, but with more action due to the jointed connection).

I think both are good lures, just need to pick the right tool for the right conditions.

THESE ARE ALL GREAT LURES, AND I'M SURE THEY WORK WELL, BUT I HAVE HAD THE BEST ACTION AT NIGHT ON A SIMPLE WHITE BUCKTAIL WITH A WHITE PORKRIND.

what? it isnt black with purple,maroon,dark green etc??? just kidding but i think that lure color is more important for swimming plugs because a fish can see a darker plug against a lighter night sky better even if its a new moon but on the bottom, im not so sure!

I think its a combo of color and action.
I think a plug worked on top with a sexy wiggle will get belted more so than color, But on the same hand change color and Bam. what did I just say ?
can throw bombers all night in black, then put on a pink and You are on all night.......
yellow and in full moon and in bays along with black and gold chrome and black and chrome.
did some one say purple
