guys i am noticing not many posts any more, is this because of the holidays, off season or the emegence of other noreast-like sites?

I find the season/holiday period always makes for less posting on some boards I frequent(paddling/backpacking etc).
People turn thier attention elsewhere.

Things were especially slow last year from Dec thru mid-March. Now that there are more forums, I'm certain that the interaction will be even more spreadout.
