You'll be using mac trees: A diamond jig at the end of your line and 3 or 4 small colored tubes about a foot apart on dropper loops above it.
Typically the technique is to drop the rig to the appropriate depth and jig it - sharp raise in the rod, let the rig settle, wait a moment and do it again. Sometimes the macs respond better to a slow-moderate straight retrieve too.
When you get a hook up hold the rig at that depth for a few moments. Other macs will come over and get hooked up too so you can get a full tree of macs. Not always, but usually.
