Went out about 630 am Monday with a buddy from the Fire House calm winds hit a Bunker pod for some bait a few pods here and there nothing on them . Decided to hit the honey hole and Anchor up with some chunks . i put the numbers in the machine and opened her up got to my chunking spot and set the hook grabbed first try we hit the structure perfectly. baited up the hooks set them out and i had a run off but didn't get it in my pal s pole started screeming he hooked up nice fish 32 inches then mine went off i hooked the fish it surfaced way out from the boat looked good brought it in was 44 inch 33.9 lb bass!! we had our limit . then my pals reel took off and he hooked it brought it in it was also 44 inch stripper we had to release it but her bladder was full of air my other friend was anchored up in sight of us he saw this called me and told me he has a venting tool he dropped his anchor ball and came over to our boat he took this fish and vented the bladder with the tool and the bass swam away fresh as can be Awesome job captain hook Johnny boy needless to say we didn't get to weigh that fish but it was another nice li sound bass.I am definitely buying one of those fish venting tools worked great.
