Here lies the rub.

First, let me say that this is not meant to be antagonistic, sarcastic, or even confrontational. But it will surely come across as all three and then some.

Posts like this really rub me the wrong way. And maybe I'm wrong, because I've seen excellent posts, and offered information from both of you in the past, and I have appreciated it.

But, THE BEST SPOT, AND THE BEST BAIT. ARE YOU FRIGGIN' JOKING OR WHAT???????

I don't live on the North Shore, so I don't know particulars about hot spots up there. However, I've read posts and spoken to people about general areas. If I was going to go there to fish, I would not make a post that said where exactly in Manhasset Bay would I find stripers, and what is the best bait to use.

I would actually go there at low tide, high tide, fish them both, move around try different baits lures etc.... That's how I would go about it.

I'm sure many are going to hate my post, and are hating me more and more as they read. But let's get real.

If you don't live there, GO THERE, and try for yourself.

Wow, I'm on a roll now. Geez!!!!! Read the friggin beach and bring some bunker, some clams, and some lures.

THIS IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE.

I am taking this personally, because it took me a few years to finally get a handle on Long Beach. And even now, it has changed so much over the winter, that the spots that I cleaned up in last year, have not produced one keeper yet. However, new haunts have.

Man, get real.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
