I have been fishing hard this past week (10-12 times in the surf)with limited success..last day worth mentioning was Tuesday past, had 6-8 bass; then I had two medium sized fish this past Monday evening--other than that...nothing doing for this fisherman.
Fished last evening again from 8:00 to 10:00, using swimmers and darters--zip. From what I hear the fishing has been touch-and-go, some sporardic blitzes and a couple of guys doing great in the dead of the night on swim baits. Me and buddy were fishing on Sunday and we saw a guy dragging a keeper bass around from jetty to jetty.
Otherwise, a ton of bait around, spearing, in massive quantities. Joe.
