Live Bait

Looking for some input from fellow fisherman on best way to keep bait and fish alive for long periods of time. Have done several offsore trips this year and have found Peanut bunker to be an outstanding bait for tuna. Without having a livewell on the boat it has been challenging keeping these baits alive during the long trip out.
In addition to bait what is the best system to keep your fish alive without a livewell. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks EC Newell,

I have tried the small battery operated aerator which works for small baitfish but has not been succesful when trying to bring live fish back home in my cooler. One guy told me to put about an inch of water into the cooler and that should keep them for the ride home.
