Did a search with no luck since Ronkonkama Oufitters closed it's doors. Making a trip out saturday morning and wanted to drift some live bait while working lures as well, anyone know where i can get bait? Thanks

There is a new tackle store on 25A,I thinks it's called Miller Place B&T. Also the gas station on the corner of 25A & Miller Place road sells live bait.

The Walmart by me (Middle Island) sells night crawlers. I'm not sure if others do. There is a Walmart in Islanda off Exit 57/58 on the Expressway.

Ronkonkoma Bait and Tackle (also called "Used Tools") carries live freshwater shiners and nightcrawlers. They are located on portion road about a 1/2 mile west of Nicols Road (route 97). Their phone number is 631-451-0938. If you are coming from the west, it will be on the right hand side in a small shopping center In addition, they sell live eels and a variety of other saltwater baits. The guys are very friendly and helpful.

I remember a few years ago the 7-11 on the Lake use to sell night crawlers. Its been years since I used bait, so Im not sure if they still do, but its worth a look since its right on the water.
