10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Me and about 15 guys had the same idea but the fish were not cooperating unless you were the lucky devil in the Yak. No fish at all off the beach. Most guys tossig shad bodies or bucktails. About 1/3 of the fishermen were fly fishing and striking out too. A buddy of mine was doing the bait and wait. One rod w/ Clam the other w/ bunker. No dice. Did see a few sporadic bunker splashes out of casting range. Going to try and make sunset tonight somewhere between The Throgs Neck Bridge and Centre Island.
