When fishing for porgy's and sea bass using (Pink Andy 30 test)mono should you use leader and if so what type and can you tie a uni to uni knot?

Keep it simple...

I think that 30# mono is fine for scup and cbass. No need to complicate things with a leader. Whether or not you're using snelled hooks or dropper loops that 30 mono is an excellent choice for that type of fishing. After every few fish, check the condition of your line and retie if it's getting beat up.

Funny thing is, i use 30# mono for everything. I do have braid on my surf rod and use a floro leader for that.
