I am in the process of making up leaders with a variety of spinners,colored beads,hooks etc. I am using 30 & 40# coated wire.
Should I tie a loop knot or use a dbl barrel crimp?

nanseaII ; I go with dbl barrel crimp ,crimp one side then turn over and crimp the other sider.put a barrel swivel on the other end.

Nansea,
why are you using wire? I only use wire for bluefish and shark rigs. For everything else,stay with mono.

I am also using mono,I normally fish with 6 rods and blues are usally in the inlet, so I do a mix.
