Showed up this morning for the 5 AM cod trip aboard the Laura Lee, and was disappointed only to see 4 guys there. 5 o'clock came and it looked like I was going home, however Capt. Neil decide to take the 4 of us out. We were treated to a steady pick of cod through out the day, along with the conga's, dogs and occasional blackfish. Sea and weather conditions were exceptional for the end of December. Overall it was a great day. I ended up catching 5 cod keeping 2. Biggest was just shy of 11 pounds. Countless conga's 3 blacks and a handful of dogs! Looking forward to tomorrow as ill be back for more. Thanks again Capt.
