Hi,

I have been trying to cross ref your rod to the equal blank. I am drawing blanks. I will keep trying.

The XS 81 MS is rated 1/2 to 2 oz and 10-17#test line. Sounds nice.

Hi,

The mailman brought me the conversion chart I have been waiting for today.

An XS 81 MS rod is built on a GLB 96 1M.

That means it is a graphite live bait blank rated up to 30# line and 3/4-21/4 oz lures with a #6 tip top. Moderate to fast action.

Sounds like a beauty to me. Should cast great.

Lamiglas is the only manufacturer I know of that spines the blank before they build on it.

Next time I order blanks I think I will order one to test up on the Sound for Blues.
