Will be visiting Lake George next weekend. Does anyone know a good guide or some advice on fishing the lake.

I will also be up there this, and next, weekend and I can't wait to get into some of those nice smallies

I go straight to Peace-Pipe Tackle, I think it's just north of Diamond Cove, and buy some of their "Critter" jigs. They work great for both smallies and largemouth, in fact I had small mouth over 5-pounds with them last year and a largemouth of 6-pounds.

I fish primarily from my boat and the fishing is really good.

Justy Joe's up in Hague has a great reputation as a guide, especially if you want to get some of the Salmon and Lakers in the Northern Basin.
I believe he has a web page, or check the web site for Hague / Ticonderoga.
