Just got back from my viking tuna trip. We took the ride to the atlantis canyon. Had about 300 mahi boated on the first day. We bailed them for hours. Started to chunk at night and things were very slow until about 2 AM. Then rods started going off. I boated a 75lb yellowfin. ANd there were about 20 fish boated until about 4:30 when it died. The crew was Top notch. Didn't drop a single fish on the gaff and had them bled before you could get re-rigged. The bait was live squid. I cant wait to go again but I think im gonna have to upgrade my red 114H Penn. Just didn't seem to have the power because the handle was turning but I wasn't getting any line back. Even when I tightened the drag.

If you would like to up grade,I would recomend the Penn 15KG reel.It is a 2 speed light wieght grafit reel and is great for tuna chunking.(runs about $275-300 range)
