Hey Al!
Just for fun, if you had to leave the dock with just one lure what would it be? You don't have to be super specific (chicken scratch Bomber)just a type of lure (swimmer). This should be interesting.

Well, wouldn't bring a lure, I'd hide in my bag lots of bucktail heads, some nice waxed line, and 10 different colors of hair....

And if they found that in the luggage, I'd bring a white bucktail...

Hmmm…. It all depends what I am targeting… but a white "bucktail" comes to my mind too!

Hey DoctorFish… A "Weighted Treble Bunker Snagger on a Wire Leader"? Hmmm… You are evil and very dangerous my friend! Fish be afraid!

Since a bucktail seems to be the top choice… can anyone tell me why?

I would go with the bucktail also. Just for the shear variety of fish I've caught with them. I have caught a lot on diamond jigs also but not the as many different species as the bucktail.

bucktail, because....

jee wiz Crazy Al, maybe it has something to do with the fact that we've all caught more fish in more type of locations and conditions that anything else?
Or maybe its' just because we are all cheep, lazy people, and buctails are cheaper, and lighter than any big, 10 inch swimmer!!
