After the fiasco I went through the other night being stuck at Demo ( see surf fishing thread for story) it was nice to get out today with my buddy Wayne( Walruss22) for some of that blue fishing everybody's talking about.
It was nice to bend a rod finally as I was able to hook up with my first 5 blues of the season. Real nice size fish from 3-9 lbs. Wind from the N/W blowing 15-25mph. Man at one point the rain was hitting us side ways. We used castmasters with tubes ( color didn't matter). The bait guys were doing a number as I witnessed at least 30 fish between 6 guys.
