This was my last plug I built for the 08 season, something I have been working on for 2 years, I wanted a good casting jointed, one that could be fished on top slowly, or down deep, I wanted it to fish in fast water or slow water... the bottle was the answer...

It is 10" long, less the 4" teaser tail made from bucktail and saddle hackles.... the rear section is grooved to facilitate an eel skin, the fort is gaurded by a pair of 3/0 VMC trebles... in the testing process, I caught 3 largemouth bass and a pickerel that weighed approx 3lbs... hopefully the bass like it as well...

I cast most of them and retrieve, mostly from boat, I do troll some, but jointed plugs are best when fished slow or ultra slow... I do most of my fishing at night so sow is the way to go..

Joe,
Glad you posted those pics...I think a lot of folks are going to be surprised that stripers will actually hit really jumbo-sized lures. And I love those eel skin-ready jointed beauties...bet they'd be killers at the CC Canal.
