Hi all,
Was hoping someone could help out with some advice. I have a 2000 Johnson 90 HP on the back of my boat (210 hrs on the motor).
Some times I have no electrical power to the motor. When I take the cowling off and wiggle the wires the problem is corrected. If it happens under way the tach stops functioning. The path that the positive wire takes from the harness to the power pack divides with one wire going through some relays, one going to the power pack and one going somewhere else.
The question is how do I identify where the bad wire or connection is? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.
