I am serching for a good Jigging Rod and perhaps a reel. I have a new
Shimano Torium 16 but not sure if it's good enough for 100+ Tuna? Anyone know what set up I should consider?
Thanks in advance,

I agree, torium 16 won't work well for large tuna. It sacrifices some power with its higher gear ratio and its antireverse will not hold up to a big tuna. Also, the torium 16 will be lack line capacity. It will likely work with up to 60-70 pound fish, but the bigger guys will really strain it.

I'm thinking the same thing that the 16 Torium is not meant for nice size bluefin and large yellow fin. I haven't made up my mind yet but I am thinking about the Accurate 665xn for the reel and to match it up with a good jigging rod that I can also use for Cod.
