SandFlee,
You may be right. Peosonally I like to fish bowside. Predicting fishing is like predicting economy. Usually you have to figure out why your prediction is wrong.
I've known Jimmy for many years as a regular on the JJ. He is very good at anchoring. It dosen't matter where the tranducer is. He can visualize a wreck.
For example, His favorite wreck is Celtic wreck. He fishes the wreck almost everyday to produce fish. He can put you on where he wants to. But rarely I've seen the whole boat sit on the wreck because of the wind direction and tide. Especially on the weekend he has to compete with other private boats for the right spot. Some section of the boat has to be sacrificed. Percentagewise it could be bowside or sternside. That is my theory.
When there is room on the boat, Jimmy usually ask you move to where the bites are on. But on this weekend you have to fish where you stand.
