Maiden fishing trip for Dad's Team this Spring. Headed out about noon after the kids morning sports routine, and decided to try for some flounder. First spot we tried was between Plum Beach and the Roundhouse. 1/2 hour there an not a bite. Next was the Seawall by 138th Street on the Rockaway side. NADA. Next and Last stop was between Cross Bay bridge and the train bridge. Anchored up and picked 6 schoolie Bass on Clams. They would not touch the sandworms, and not a tap from a Flounder. Bagged it about 4:30. Encouraged by the Bass being around so thick.
