Hello all , I happen to read a post yesterday about the island current and capt Brenden . For some reason it is now locked . I say if some one has somthing to say we should be able to respond . I am not protecting the boat and capt Brenden but if thay say thay had 100 fish well thats what thay had , I have to take it from what I hear and read . I happen to know the boat very well and Capt Chris runnes a one of a kind operation . I say if you dont like what you see dont bother looking . Lets all try and have a good fishing season , with the price of gas and the new regs many fisherman and women will not bother going fishing , but for those that will go out have fun and enjoy your summer . I was fishing on my own boat anchored off their stern stealing their chum. I witnessed them bailing the fish, not that I need to confirm their report. If the capt says they caught a certain amount they did, if you were not a clown you would realize they post when they do poorly as well. That should give them some credibility don't you think? the IC is a first class operation best out there. I do not know why that report was locked or what that guy said but seems like hes been doing a lot of fishing from his computer this year. Oh btw whats up Brown give me a call got a 30+ the other night still owe me that side pool money haha

Whats up Josh . I am happy you have your boat in the water . I really dont care about what happen on the current , but just like you said you cant fish from your computer you can only dream from it . Some boats fabricate about what thay catch but it is up to you as the fisherman or women to belive what you want . I dont think Capt Brenden was trying to make up numbers he does not have to it is what it is . You go fishing you know what the **** is going on . Just go fishing and have a good time . Brownboy . I definately have to agree completely with what Brownboy said regarding the Island Current and Capt.Brendan. I fished the IC for the first time on the flounder/tog trip a bunch of us Noreasters went on last month, and was very impressed. Capt.Brendan went above and beyond, after seeing that flounder was going to be slim pickins that day, he switched over to toggin, and put us on a couple of excellent drops. He also stayed out much later than I'd imagine he would usually go in, we hit the dock, IIRC a little after 6!

Bottom line is, the Island Current is a first class opertaion, across the board

! They'll definately be seeing me again!
