is the new moon good for canyon tuna?

I know the fishing out at the canyons has not been the best. Regardless, I have the opportunity to jump on an overnighter August 31- Sept 1. My question is what do you think of fishing for tuna during the new moon. Have you had good luck? Bad luck?
