From what I heard there were a few good inning but it was short lived and you had to be in the right place.

My Viking canyon trip this year was a bust. :(

Spoke to a friend of NJ, he did well but it took him 3 trips to finally connect.

Overall it seems it was a slow season.

Better chances next year!

Alan,
we didn't have that clear blue water inshore near the cholera if thats what you mean.We had to go 30 miles to the H.A. buoy to hook up.We had a bunch of mahi right at the buoy and just east of there we took 5 bluefin that were around 25" or so,but the clips were popping all day.

Targeted BFT. Did just ok at the wrecks this season (Coimbria and Virginia) and Rockpiles vicinity late in the season (late Sept. and October). Got skunked a couple of times too mainly August/Sept. Never had great water, color or temps. P.S. mostly trolled
