made my first trip this morning with buddy Fred. 8:00am we tried the last of the incoming for fluke inside the inlet on the north west side of the bridge, nada. During slack we headed to the depths of the ocean, 65 ft, and was greeted by a 19" fat fluke within ten minutes. After that it was a slow diet of dogfish (pregnant and very large) and a few skates. At the start of the outgoing we headed back inside to try the bridge for bass. As we pulled up to the bridge we saw a boat anchored by the third piling from the bridge center on the south side. He hooked up with a keeper striper as we pulled up and we anchoring and chummed at the second piling. Nothing to show for our efforts and they didn't do anyhthing else the brief time we stayed (1/2hour). Back at the house by 12:00 at work by 1:00 (doctors appointment HA!) Great to be back on the water!!!
