I just saw a show on Fox Sports Net (Channel 88 on Hauppauge Cabelvision) called You Gotta See This where some anglers on SOT kayaks were fishing for sharks and one guys caught a thresher that had to weigh at least 100 lbs. And he pulled it up on the yak with him. I am guessing that it was shot in New England somewhere near where George posted that shot of the free-jumping thresher was from. It's on again tommorow at 6:30.

Are you sure that it wasn't the west coast? They regularly pursue threshers and makos via kayaks out there.

I read an article from (link to commercial site deleted) on fishing for sharks via kayak. It's an east coast thing - I believe it was North Carolina.
