What would you get
My computer is about reached it's max on the upgrades, and to do anything further would require changing the motheboard to upgrade to a Duo-Core processor.
By the time I get a good motherboard, video card, max out on the memory I'd be in the $500 to $700 range for a decent fast computer. And thats not counting if I go with Vista...........add another couple $$$ to that.
ASUS P5E LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard$226.00
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor $229.00
EVGA 256-P2-N761-AR GeForce 8600GTS 256MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card $159.00
Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory .....$74.99 x 4= $300.00
It doesn't pay to build your own anymore, sure, you'll get what you want, but at a price...........

So, what do you have, and what would you get..................don't need a monitor, I have a nice 19' flat panel.....
I'm all ears.......................
