I can't wait to hit Croton Falls for the white perch. With no ice (and the reservoir closing) last year it was horrible. I also fish for smelt on West Branch at night! Lots of fun!! Anyone interested?

How'd you guys do last year with the smelt?

I'm interested, thats free bait and tasty treats all in one!!!!

I used to "dip" for them back in Michigan, they'd run into the rivers in the early spring, you would get them by the bucket full.

Let me at those watersheds,,no fishing last fall,winter,low water conditions,seems like we are due for a real winter. Muscoot perch fishin this month,some spooning for trout at Kensico,and cross River. Then first ice at Muscoot behind King Lumber,,bring it on boys !!
