Right place at the right time

It was a rather slooooow day,but a nice one at that.John just happend to walk up at the right time.My buddy got a brown,I got that rainbow,& another got a big perch. We wanted to find the perch but that never happend. We tried several different locations on the lake, our fish were caught on gold & silve spoons tiped with tiny grubs. The tip ups & shiners got 2 bites all day.Several others on the lake with very little success, besides the 1 nice brown that another guy got.Allthough it was a nice day on Laurel lake, with some good freinds.

Heres one of the brown my buddy got.

jpfsurf,

Send me an email at [email protected] so I can send you the hi res pics.

He's right about my timing. I walked out there with my son hoping to show him what ice fishing was and no one had anything. As soon as I got to jpf, bang, he hooked up. What a rare beautiful day for ice fishing.

Nice Trout! Glad to see guys getting out on the L.I. ice. Went to WW today w/ Doughboy and hit the Picks (to 21") and LMB (to 16") hard again...flags flyin' all day long! I have some pics DB took on his digital from last week. Last fish of the day was a surprise and a bonus in shallow water...this 15" brownie. All fish released, naturally.

Fished in Sullivan county this weekend, White Lake and Lake Huntington very slow. Lake Hunt. only produced LM bass, 12 guys 15 fish in 5 hours. Weather was great food was good great way to pass a winter day. We go back the end of Feb. My first time not crazy about the tipups like the jigging much better. Lou
