when i was a kid i took a 17' mako through a good sized breaker off of rockaway beach. that wave was not as big as in this video, but i managed to nearly fill the boat with water, taking it over the bow. i hit the throttle hard and most of the water ran out through the notched transom. not sure what would have happened if that boat had a bracket. cool video though.

WOW.... that was some pretty crazy stuff. the guy that was in the bow was def. hurting after that. Is that some kind of sport where this was filmed? Thought he was gona flip on the 2ns wave and thought he was gona take one over the stern but he turned it around in time. Didnt catch the make of the boat Grady mabey..

I was out surfing a few days last fall with waves about as nice and clean as that, but not with those kind of lines. There were quite a few good wave days last year.

Those were some pretty nice sets on that video..just not nice if yer on a center console in the middle of them. That's what I feel like coming home from togging in the winter on my boat getting my ass kicked
