Agree with Gaucho. Shhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! I've been eating them for about 15 years. If anyone asks, I tell them they're disgusting. Otherwise, next thing we know, there'll be a 4 limit with a minimum size of 24 inches.

I've been eating them for 40 years and never got sick from them. My dad is not the most proficient person with a filet knife and none of us ever got sick from any fish he cleaned.

yes definately, one taste can put you in the hospital. Don't ever eat a sea robin!
Fillet them. We are of course only keeping the big ones.
And BTW make sure you have the right species. The ones with the orange are the ones to eat. The other species are dry.
