Agree with Gaucho. Shhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! I've been eating them for about 15 years. If anyone asks, I tell them they're disgusting. Otherwise, next thing we know, there'll be a 4 limit with a minimum size of 24 inches.

Sea Robins have a poison pouch you need to be careful with. Pop that and get a litttle of the bile on your fillets and you can kiss your butt godbye...literally.

I've been eating them for 40 years and never got sick from them. My dad is not the most proficient person with a filet knife and none of us ever got sick from any fish he cleaned.

Try making fishcakes out of them..

Fillet them. We are of course only keeping the big ones.
And BTW make sure you have the right species. The ones with the orange are the ones to eat. The other species are dry.
