i am dying to go fishing. i don't care if i catch anything. just wanna be on the boat doing what we do. trying to be in the water end of the month but are we gonna catch any flounders this year? doubt it. but of course i won't sleep till i make my annual shakedown flounder extravaganza expedition on my 20 foot mako.......

I hear ya my fathers down in Ft lauderdale right now fishing with some of his buddies he comes home friday must be nice to be retired and have money he was calling me at work every time he got a fish which was like every 15-20 mins I had to tell him to stop he was killing me

I dont know why you stopped in the first place . I used to stop in the late fall but now I have found new species to fish and enjoy all thru the year . Just find a boat and go fishing Cod

, Flounder (coming up)

, mudhole trips , off shore sea bass , stripers , what ever is happening , there is plenty to do straight thru , you just gotta get out there and go. Best of luck to you . I hope you feel better

my parents just got back from the keys ....for 3 weeks all i got on my cell phone was pictures of drunk NY partyboat capts, boobs, and people fishing in shorts...lol!!

Starting the season on Friday 3/14!!

I also can't take the cabin fever. I definitly been on more cod,blackfish and sea bass trips this winter then recent ones. It moves things along a bit faster. Friday looks good and the weather for the next 10 days seems to be holding above freezing. I got some new electronics that I want to program and play around with and hopefully find some resident cod,blackfish and ling. The count down is on boys!!!

to go fishing for Cod? First full year fishing long Island sound and I am itching to get out there? also when will the stipers start showing up in the old saybrook area?

I'm going to try this coming Sunday if weather permitted TRADEWINDS II...COD,BLACK AND LINGS plus lot of very good friends....Fredd
