hey since the weather is cold, and the cabin fever has kicked in,but thank god for the Calverton Shooting Range ..

But to the point...im hyped for the big show at Nassau this weekend, a friend told me there gonna have a man made pond inside the Colloseum where you can trout fish...WOO HOO..

i never been to an event like this but i hear you can get good deals?!? is that true?? ill be bring the $$ hopin to get a new 10'er a new 704z and a whole new set of this years new lures...

anyone else with me? lol

New for this year & seminars every hour.trout pond is good for the little ones.
Ya better go thursday night if ya expect to catch,by sat dem fish are used to lookin at the same piece of bait.LOL.

Maybe your thinking of Brookhaven right down the road which has the kick *** skeet& trap setups...

The only clays i ever shot in Calverton is going down in the pit with the guys and throwing our own clay...

LOL @ the pond i knew that would be too good to be true...lol

Jym, From what I've heard the deals are gone by Friday night. If this is your first sportsman's show, don't use it to judge them all. The Rockland show is much better and for fishing I like the Freeport and Lindenhurst shows for the best deals.

In everyones opinion what would be considered a bargin for a Mid line Surf rod 10'er which im lookin' for and im guessin like 75-80$ would be good for a NIB 704Z right?

hi jym, I think if you go on the last day and during the last couple of hours you might find some really good deals.But you also dont want to miss some of the great seminars that they have every day.They have them for stripers, fluke,boat and from the beach.Have a great time.

I went to the one in raritan, not that many great buys. But I guess they are all different. I like the show in Suffern better, more fishing tackle
